5.1 Surround Sound???
So do you guys get all 5 speakers to work in Guildwars??? I only have my left and right kicking out sound, but my system is configured for 5.1 audio and all speakers play the Windows/Realtek test/demo fine.

I get all 5 speakers and the sub here, but that has little to do with Guild Wars, and everything to do with my receiver, and Dolby Pro Logic II. As far as I know, GW has no native Dolby Digital support nor any plans for that. I do notice directional sound when I isolate a sound effect and spin the camera, the sound effect follows my speakers around the room. I really am not familiar with sound cards or sound formats on the PC, but GW does seem to have some form of surround sound: DirectX, DirectSound, or whatever, I suppose.

heck your settings in Windows(assuming its your OS). That might be it. I WAS going to say GW might not support surround sound, but it seems some have it working. I have Creatives Ti7700 speakers(power cords busted though ), so when I get a replacement, Ill try it myself.
